Pickleball has become extremely popular in our region in recent years. It’s easier for people of all ages to participate in the game, enjoying a fun team sport while staying active well into the retirement years. For this reason companies like CDPHP and others are sponsoring programs at True Pickleball Club (195 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Latham). Owners Mike Bibbo and Jon Foshee cut the ceremonial ribbon on October 12, alongside Mike’s family and community leaders including Peter Crummey Colonie Town Supervisor, Jeffery Jamison, Counsel to Daniel McCoy – Albany County Executive, Dr. John Bennett of CDPHP, Richard Unger, Ambassador of USA Pickleball, and the author serving as emcee. Meaghan Rossbach representing Senator Jake Ashby delivered a plaque on behalf of the Senator.
All 2023 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company.
