Tri-City BMX Celebrates 40th Season, Dedicates Sign in Memory of Bobby Iovinella

The Chamber was honored to be a part of Tri-City BMX Track ribbon cutting for a new, digital sign in memory of Bobby Iovinella, a pro rider for many years, and the celebration of the track’s 40th season.

Family, friends, BMX bikers, racers and enthusiasts as well as elected officials were on hand to participate in the event. A race was held in Bobby’s honor and the track was rededicated in his name for this season. The event was a day of family fun with racing, a food truck, and Kona Ice, as well as entertainment by the band, Happy Daze.

Tri-City BMX is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization located in the Town of Rotterdam that has been a part of the community since 1981.
