October 3, 2018The Makeup Curio Hosts Region’s Only SFX Makeup Competition
The Makeup Curio is celebrating their one year anniversary by hosting the region’s only Special Effects Makeup Competition on Saturday October 13, 2018 at Proctors Theater Underground. Competitors have been selected for the two age categories:
Student Competitors (ages 12-17): Caitlin Van Loan, Bella Marte, Isabella Dupont, Emma Folmsbee, and Erin Stickney.
Adult Competitors (ages 18+): Kyla Schmidt, Paige Paddock, John MacDonald aka Noelle Diamond, Kathleen Schantz, Michelle Margiotta, Skye Fowler-Eggleston, and Twilisha McClellend of The Face Gawdess.
The student competition is 10 am-1pm and the adult competition is 2pm-5:30pm. Tickets to the event will be available online at www.themakeupcurio.com, in store, and at the door the day of the event, $10 cash or credit card.
Over $1000 in prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age category. Prizes are sponsored by Graftobian Makeup Company, a brand offered in the The Makeup Curio boutique.
