Tech Valley High School Establishes College Course Reimbursement Fund

The Tech Valley School Foundation Board of Directors has established a tuition reimbursement program to help Tech Valley High School students pay the cost of earning college credits while in high school.

The foundation recently allocated $10,000 to create the Tuition Reimbursement Program fund. The program will support current TVHS students who wish to challenge themselves by taking college-level courses.

“We are pleased to provide our students with the best opportunities to advance their education,” Tech Valley School Foundation Board of Directors Chairman Dale Thuillez said. “We expect this to be a very successful program.”

“A student’s desire to challenge him or herself shouldn’t be limited by finances,” Tech Valley High School Principal James Niedermeier said. “I’m excited that the foundation has provided us with resources to take cost off the table as we increase the opportunities and rigor of our program for our students.”

Students may apply for tuition reimbursement for courses taken while enrolled at TVHS, including, but not necessarily limited to, AP courses, University in High School (UHS) courses and other courses that have the potential to allow students to earn college credit.
