Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar recently welcomed two new board members: Megan Lacy and F. Michael Zovistoski.
Geraldine Golub, chair of the Board of Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar, highlighted the new additions: “Each of these individuals brings a strong commitment to our Scholars and a passion for our mission. They also add new connections, perspectives and skills to our board. We are pleased to welcome both Megan and Michael to our organization.”
Megan Lacy is a senior accountant at Teal, Becker and Chiaramonte. She earned her CPA certification in 2016. She holds both a bachelors and master’s degree from Siena College. She currently teaches several accounting classes at Schenectady County Community College, where she is an adjunct professor.
F. Michael Zovistoski is a partner at UHY LLP and a managing director of UHY Advisors NY. He has more than three decades of experience in auditing and financial services and he is a certified public accountant and an alumnus of Siena College. Mike also is the immediate past president of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a former board member of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, Community Living Partnership and Colonie Babe Ruth, among others.
Both new members have committed to a three-year term of service.
