Sponsor-A-Scholar Welcomes New Board Members

Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar recently welcomed three new board members: Paul Collins-Hackett; Terrence Kremer and Eleanor Ollier.

Michael Zovistoski, Chair of the Board, said “We are pleased to have Paul, Terry and Eleanor join our board and bring their skills and experience in support of our Scholars and our mission.”

Paul Collins-Hackett is himself an alumnus of Sponsor-A-Scholar’s Albany program, and a former mentor of an Albany High School graduate. He earned his bachelors degree from Siena College. Mr. Collins-Hackett currently serves as the Youth Program Facilitator where he directs the Summer Youth Employment Program for the City of Albany. He also founded two local non-profits, Tru Heart and Pulse. In addition to serving on those boards, Mr. Collins-Hackett is also a member of the board of directors of the Albany Fund for Education and he serves on the steering committee for LEAD, a community policing initiative that is focused on enforcement assisted diversion.

Terry Kremer is the Director of Human Resources at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs. Mr. Kremer is an alumnus of SUNY Binghamton and the University at Albany, where he earned his Masters in Business Administration. Terrence also holds a certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.

Eleanor A. Ollier-Goodman is currently an Engagement Manager at ECG Consulting Group Inc. and owner of Holistic Wellness Therapy.  Previously, Ms. Goodman was Corporate Director of Contracted Services at St. Peter’s Health Partners.  She has a BS in Accounting from The Sage Colleges. Ms. Goodman currently serves as a Board Trustee of The Community Hospice Foundation and a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Paul Collins-Hackett will serve a two-year term as the Alumni Trustee. Terry Kremer and Eleanor Ollier have both committee to three-year terms of service.
