The Schenectady County Human Rights Commission is seeking nominees for its 34th Annual Human Rights Awards

The winners will be honored at an Awards Breakfast to be held at the Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017.  The deadline for filing applications is April 28th.

Awards will be given in four different categories:  youth, individual, community group, and justice award.  Nomination forms are available on the Schenectady County website or by calling the Schenectady County Human Rights Commission office at 377-3823.  All nominees will be introduced and acknowledged at the Awards Breakfast.  Completed nomination form should be sent to the Human Rights Office at 797 Broadway, Room 305, Schenectady, NY 12305 or email to: angelicia.morris@schenectadycounty.com

The Annual Awards Breakfast is part of the Commission’s ongoing effort to foster mutual respect and enhance understanding among all people in Schenectady County and to assist individuals in securing their constitutional rights.
