SaxBST is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald L. Guzior, CPA as Partner in Charge of the Albany, NY office effective January 1, 2016.
Ron joined SaxBST’s predecessor firm Bollam, Sheedy, Torani & Co. (BST) in 1988 and became a Partner in 1998. Prior to being named a Partner, he was a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Accounting & Auditing Department.
Ron has expertise in several specialty service areas, including not-for-profit organizations, construction contractors and closely held businesses. He is the Head of the Firm’s Audit & Accounting Department and a member of the Firm’s Quality Control Committee and Board of Directors.
Ron is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which awarded him the Certificate of Educational Achievement in Non Profit Accounting and Auditing. Ron currently serves as a Board member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is a member of its Finance Committee and is Chairman of its Compliance and Audit Committee. Ron is also Past President of the Northeast Chapter of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
