Rayn Boncie Baptist Health System Community Service Award Recipient

Rayn Boncie, CEO/Founder of Things of My Very Own, Inc. is the recipient of the 2015 Raymond Whitbeck Community Service Award offered through Baptist Health System! Things of My Very Own, Inc. is a local not-for-profit that provides crisis intervention services and programs to children who have experienced extensive abuse and/or neglect. The organization also provides emergency services to children and families at-risk for a Child Protective Services intervention solely due to not having items necessary for sustainability. Her nomination was selected from all nominations that were sent in and voted upon by Baptist Health System Board Members. Rayn will be presented with her award, along with a check for $2,000-, to benefit a not-for-profit organization of her choice on Friday evening, October 16, 6-9 p.m. at The Fourth Annual Baptist Health System Wine & Food Pairing Event that will take place at Riverstone Manor, 1427 Amsterdam Road in Glenville, NY. Things of My Very Own, Inc., will be the benefactor of the $2,000- award that Rayn will receive in appreciate for her outstanding Community Service. When Baptist Health System Administrator spoke with Rayn to let her know she was the recipient of the award, she responded by saying, “What an honor it is to be the recipient of this Community Service Award! Things of My Very Own will use this generous donation to help the children that we are so dedicated to serving!”

Craig Adams, Meteorologist from CBS 6 Albany will be a special guest emcee for the evening. James Rissacher will be the musical guest for the evening.
