Palace Theatre Announces New Hires

Executive Director Susan Rosko Fogarty has announced today the appointment of two executive positions at the Palace Performing Arts Center; Managing Director & Senior Director of Operations and Programming.

William Piskutz will join the staff as Managing Director. In his new role, Mr. Piskutz joins the Senior Leadership Team, helping to advance the cause of PPAC in the community and provide management support to our Front of House Operations team. Mr. Piskutz will also play a key role on the programming team. He returns to the Palace Theatre after serving as the Director of Development from 2008 – 2011.

“I am thrilled to join the Palace Theatre team!” noted William Piskutz “This beloved venue and its storied history and relationship to the community hold a special place in my heart and I feel privileged to serve in the role of Managing Director. I am grateful to the Board of Directors for this opportunity and look forward to working with Susan and the remarkable group of Palace staff, volunteers and patrons.”

Most recently, Mr. Piskutz served as the Senior Director of Development and Corporate Relations at SPAC where he was responsible for leading fundraising initiatives and events, cultivating new donors, managing a planned giving program and enhancing corporate and community relations.

Stephen Baboulis, Vice Chairman of the Palace Performing Arts Center Board of Directors, stated, “We are excited to announce the hiring of William Piskutz as Managing Director. He brings to us ten years of event experience as well as over fifteen years of Development experience including here at the Palace. His great operational knowledge of our theatre and the performing arts will be a terrific asset to the organization.”

Danny Taylor has been promoted to Senior Director of Operations and Programming. Mr. Taylor, a long time member of the Palace was most recently Director of Operations leading the event staff teams. He will continue to direct the PPAC operations team with additional supervisory duties as well as a vital role managing the theatre’s programming calendar. In response to his new position, Danny Taylor stated, “I’m excited to grow my role and help expand the genres of programming at the Palace.”
