Over 350 Backstage Passes Being Sold To Help Employees Negatively Impacted by Pandemic

Over the course of a 35 year career, Bob Belber, General Manager of the Times Union Center, has collected over 350 backstage passes. Originally intended to be passed down to his children, he is now selling one of the largest known collections of backstage passes in the country.

The collection features passes from the concerts of artists like Bruce Springsteen, Phish, Grateful Dead to Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers and Thomas Rhett. The vast majority of the concerts were performed at what is now the Times Union Center and also features three Grateful Dead CD’s, of concerts performed here.

While he has personally had to take a pay cut due to the pandemic, that is not the only reason he believes the time to sell the collection is now. He is looking to give back to the employees that have helped make these events over the years spectacular, intending to give a portion of the proceeds to the furloughed Times Union staff members in hopes of helping them with their critical needs.

The auction begins on November 17th through November 20th at https://live.phiauctions.com/auctions/4-1ADXTO/belber-collection-of-350-backstage-concert-passes-1990-2020
