National Trans March of Resilience

In Our Own Voices Inc. and community members will be honoring Transgender Day of Remembrance by joining efforts in the National Trans March of Resilience showing solidarity within community followed by an Evening of Remembrance coupled with and panel discussion in honor of those lives lost.

In keeping with our mission to work for and ensure the physical, mental, spiritual, political, cultural, and economic survival of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People of Color, we commemorate Transgender lives lost to violence and celebrate resilience within our communities. The number of Transgender murders this year alone total 25, the majority of them have Trans women of color. Join us as we march against transphobia, racism, and community and institutional violence.
