Making the Business Case – How HR Professionals Bring Value to Your Business

Human Resources (HR) professionals need general business skills to truly be successful and to capitalize on the value HR can offer an organization. It is not enough to have a solid idea or plan; it is essential for HR to understand the factors that impact how decisions are made in the organization. In addition, HR professionals need to master specific skills and approaches required to make an effective business case for an initiative or program. This training will provide Human Resource leaders with the context needed to understand how business decisions are made, as well as guidelines for preparing and presenting an idea that requires executive buy in. This training may include an exercise for attendees to discuss and practice the skills learned.
