You are invited to join SUNY Schenectady Office of Workforce Development and Community Education and the Center for Economic Growth on November 13 to discuss how apprenticeships can address the skills and talent gap in the tech-sector. This conversation, taking place during National Apprenticeship Week, will focus on the funds available through the State University of New York and the development of training programs through SUNY Schenectady to address growing industry needs. Using past experience with the Software Developer Title, we are looking forward to exploring potential areas of growth into other technology-based apprenticeable titles in addition to examining existing alternative titles approved through USDOL and NYSDOL as a method to fill tech sector vacancies.
