April 28, 2021Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York Receives Donation From Stewart’s Holiday Match Program
The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York is grateful to receive a $1,000 donation thanks to the annual Stewart’s Holiday Match Program, which collects donations from customers between Thanksgiving and Christmas and then matches the contributions.
This donation will be used to help send more children with epilepsy to summer camp, where they build self-confidence and show others that epilepsy does not have to be a barrier to living a full and productive life. The organization will also use this generous donation to expand their “Bears Care” program, providing a teddy bear to children with epilepsy who are admitted to a hospital stay.
