January 22, 2020Eat, Drink and be Merry at the Merc
The Clinton Street Mercantile invites the community to its second annual Family and Friends night on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:30-8:00 PM.
The Clinton Street Mercantile opened in the Fall of 2018 and is home to over 30 New York State artisans selling unique handmade products. The Merc has become a shopping destination in Schenectady offering merchandise such as: custom wooden furniture, fine art, soaps and body products, jewelry, knitwear, handbags, quilts, antiques, leather journals, kids toys, candles and much more.
“After our first full year of business and a very busy holiday season we want to say thank you to our friends, family and customers with a fun community event” says owner Michelle Whittall. “Our customers over the past year really have become like family to us. With their support we have seen three of our vendors quit their full time jobs to pursue their business, three more open their own stores and one is renovating a warehouse space that will serve as a showroom/workspace for their business.”
The Merc will be staying open late and offering complementary food and drinks. Shoppers will also receive 10% off most items in the store.
The Clinton Street Mercantile is a retail store and arts incubator located at 148 Clinton St, Schenectady NY. For more information on this and other events including workshops or to become a vendor visit us online at www.clintonstreetmercantile.com
