Dr. James O’Brien, MD, Appointed to Catholic Charities to Board of Trustees

Vincent W. Colonno, CEO of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, today announced the appointment of Dr. James O’Brien, MD, to the Board of Trustees of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany.

“Dr. O’Brien brings a wealth of experience in healthcare and a strong connection to the Catholic Charities mission,” said Mr. Colonno.  “We are thrilled that he’ll be joining our board and supporting our efforts to provide outreach and compassionate services to the poor and vulnerable.”

Dr. O’Brien is the Director of Cardiac Arrhythmia Services at Capital Cardiology Associates, PC, a position he has held since 1996, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine and an attending cardiac electrophysiologist at Albany Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and has held clinical teaching positions at Sage Colleges and Hudson Valley Community College.
