January 22, 2020Chazen Announces New Environmental Services and NYC Office Director
The Chazen Companies is pleased to welcome Richard T. Kampf, PG, LEP as an Environmental Services Director and New York City Office Director.
Kampf has over 21 years of experience in environmental and cross-disciplinary consulting, focusing primarily on site remediation and related property redevelopment. Most recently he directed and helped grow P.W. Grosser Consulting’s New York City office in Manhattan, where he provided environmental risk management and real estate advisory services to public and private clients throughout the region. Kampf managed the office and staff, helped drive environmental and engineering business opportunities, and managed multiple environmental and engineering contracts with city and federal agencies. Kampf’s expertise lies in environmental due diligence, investigation, and remediation of E-designation, brownfield, Superfund, and spill sites, related strategic planning, and regulatory negotiations.
Kampf recently led a team awarded the 2019 Big Apple Award for Environmental Protection from the NYC Brownfield Partnership, and is currently working on projects across the City and in Connecticut. Chazen has private and public environmental projects throughout New York City. Kampf will work on these as well as new client sites.

Chazen expects to open a New York City office early in 2020, offering both environmental and additional services from this office. Chazen has a nearby full-service office in White Plains.
Kampf graduated from William and Mary College with a B.S. in Geology and earned a graduate certificate in Real Estate Finance & Investing from NYU. He is a NYS Professional Geologist and a Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP). Kampf resides in Brooklyn.
