August 17, 2016Albany Pro Musica to Hold Auditions
Albany Pro Musica’s Artistic Director, Dr. José Daniel Flores-Caraballo, invites experienced singers to audition for APM’s Concert Chorus and Masterworks Chorus.
Auditions are being held on August 22, 23, and 24 from 6-8 PM.
Auditions for soloists are scheduled for August 31 from 6 PM – 8 PM.

The group is celebrating their 36th season, an electrifying and eclectic mix of performances that include some of the finest a cappella repertoire as well as concerts with the Canadian Brass, the Albany Symphony, and the Orchestra Pro Musica.
APM gives singers an opportunity to build meaningful artistic expression with colleagues of similar advanced abilities. The Concert Chorus is the core group of singers who performs all subscription concerts in addition to occasional extra events. Rehearsals are September to May. The Masterworks Chorus is an oratorio-sized group which performs major concert works with orchestral accompaniment once or twice a year. Rehearsals are 6-8 weeks prior to a performance.
