Adams Brings Decades of PR Expertise to AIM Services, Inc.

Walt AdamsAIM Services, Inc. announced long time Radio Broadcaster Walt Adams has joined the Agency as Director of Public Relations. He will focus on Fundraising events, business networking and community outreach. Adams has 40 years of on air radio experience at capital region stations, including WGNA 107.7 Program Director and Afternoon Show Host. WPYX-PIX 106 FM, WTRY Program Director/Morning Show Host and Operations Manager for the Merv Griffin Corporation. WKLI-K LITE 101 Program Director/Marketing Director/Afternoon Show Host. WRVE The River/WHRL Today’s Jazz 103.1 on air host. The Anastos Media Group WQAR/WABY /WPTR Sales, Program Director/ Public Relations and On Air personality in Saratoga. Adams most recently hosted the Morning Show for Empire Broadcasting’s 101.3 The Jockey. Walt will continue with Empire part time as host of the Sunday Jazz Brunch 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday.

Walt also headed the Public relations efforts for the RPI Athletics Department with the Star Marketing Group. As Director of the New School of Radio and Television, Adams created the first articulation agreement with Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY. Through his local company, Walt Adams Productions, he has produced hundreds of Commercials and Public Service announcements for Radio, TV and the Web. He created a state wide radio PSA for NYS Seatbelt enforcement for the NYS Police and has produced several short form Documentaries for the Fund For Lake George including the making of The Jefferson Project, funded by IBM to tell the story of the high definition sonar mapping of Lake George.
