The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region today announces that tickets are available for The Masquerade Presents: Streets of London, scheduled for Friday, October 27. This annual fundraiser is one of the most imaginative and unique events in the Capital Region, and has netted almost $100,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2015.

Since it’s inception, The Masquerade has been hosted annually in Albany. This year, however, the locale of the event will be in Schenectady. More clues will be revealed as the event approaches, eventually allowing event goers to deduce the specific venue.

“Each year that we host The Masquerade fundraiser, the event surprises guests,” said Jeff Yule, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. “From the décor and creative formal attire, to the silent auction and exciting entertainment, this event is designed to capture your imagination and transport you to a different time or place.”

Much like the rooms in the Ronald McDonald House, each masquerade has represented a distinct theme. Guests have experienced a glamorous masked ball with circus-like performers, and then wandered into Wonderland at The Mad Hatter’s Ball in the event’s second year. This year’s event will transport guests back in time to The Streets of London at the turn of the century.

For those interested in attending The Masquerade, tickets can be purchased at CapitalMasquerade.com.

Top tier sponsors for the event include Mazzone Hospitality and DeCrescente Distributing Company. The event committee is composed of Jeff Yule, Kate Otis, Eli Rabinowitz, Mike Schinnerer, John Daniels, Matt Mazzone, Maureen Neufeld, Carmine DeCrescente, Jamie Thompson, Julie Potter, Melissa Brown, Katherine Wright, Christopher Edwards, and Suzy Wenskoski.
