$10 to Celebrate a Decade of Commitment

To paraphrase Einstein … “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is madness.”
As you may have heard, after 10 years of leading the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Brad Shear has announced he will be leaving. Brad brought a new way of doing things to MHHS. His accomplishments for the Society and the community are numerous.

Under his leadership, the Society has cared for nearly 67,000 animals. Brad helped to establish and maintain a positive financial situation for the organization and broke ground on our new Animal Care Center, which is set to open in June. Finally, after nearly 130 years, the animals will have a temporary home that offers all the comfort and benefits we have long dreamed about. It will be a welcoming place for all of our human visitors as well.

We’ve affectionately dubbed this sendoff “Shear Madness.” In honor of Brad’s decade of work to improve the lives of animals (and those who love them), we’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 to help provide them with shelter, food and loving care. Click here for more information.
