May 26, 2016Federal and NYS Historic Preservation Tax Credit Workshop
Owners of historic properties may be eligible for 20 percent federal and state historic preservation income tax credits for rehabilitation projects.
Congressman Paul Tonko will co-host a workshop on Monday, June 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Schenectady Armory, 125 Washington Avenue, Schenectady, to help realtors, contractors, owners of historical income properties, businesses, homeowners and community leaders learn more about opportunities for community reinvestment.
Presenters will include representatives from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation; Preservation Studios; and the Preservation League of NYS.
