Participate, Smile, Pass it On

On August 12, hundreds and hundreds of smiling faces will flood State Street in Schenectady, NY to show their support for the city and Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County.  If you are in the area please join them!

Schenectady will celebrate the positive things going on in the community and support Habitat for Humanity with a mile-long downtown line of smiles on State Street.

Line up for Miles of Smiles in downtown Schenectady at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Pick a spot on the north side of State Street and on the west side of Washington (south of State Street) to Schenectady Community College.

Make a sign or banner, design a shirt to represent your neighborhood or business or paint your face. The Smile Cam, firetruck and other “smile-cade” vehicles will drive down the street at 11 a.m..

The streets will not be closed, so watch for traffic and stay on the sidewalk.

Parking is available at all LAZ locations, www.parkschenectady.com/parking-lots.

Please show your support by liking them on Facebook, follow on Twitter, and check out the Buzz Media Solutions blog!
