January 15, 2021The Music Studio in Albany Offering Virtual Adult Beginner Piano Class
The Music Studio in Albany, New York, is launching its first all-remote, adult beginner piano class, through its recreational piano program. Because of the ongoing pandemic, we’re choosing not to meet in-person for the entire ten-week course. Although a disappointment, this decision presents an opportunity: to bring The Music Studio to adult learners no matter where they live!
If you or someone you know wants to make 2021 the year you learned to play the piano, now’s your chance!
Here’s how the course will go:
- New students will sign up through the online application. The cost is $280 + 21.59 for the textbook
- We’ll get your textbook in the mail to you
- Monday, January 18, to Friday, January 22, is orientation week for new students
- The class will meet via Zoom on Monday, January 18 at 7 p.m. to discuss logistics, meet one another, and ask and answer questions. New students can join ANYTIME during the week, and receive an orientation call from the teacher, as well as all class materials
- Students will receive ten weeks of instructional videos, assignment sheets, and individual video check-ins from the teacher
- The class will meet at least one other time via Zoom for fun and moral support
Learning to play the piano is a wonderful way to use these winter months, and making music is one of the great joys of life.
