CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© 30-Hour Training
October 26 to 30 | Monday through Friday | 9am to 4pm | Queensbury Campus

This five-day intensive training academy focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is conducted in a retreat-like setting and engages participants in learning and rehearsing skills with active listening, effective questioning and so on, as well as discovery and management of personal challenges. This course is required for completion of the Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification.
Insurance For Agents & Brokers — Hybrid Personal Lines and Property & Casualty Prelicensing Course

Insurance for Agents and Brokers will consist of an intensive study of the range of insurance topics required to qualify prospective agents and brokers to take NYS insurance examinations — pending attendance at all required course sessions and successful completion of the course exam and activities.
Notary Public License Exam Preparation — Face-to-Face
October 6 | Tuesday | 9:30am to 1:30pm | SUNY Adirondack Saratoga
This workshop prepares you for the New York State Notary Public exam and will provide a comprehensive view of the Notary Public Office. Examples will be provided to illuminate situations that a Notary is likely to encounter. Please note: The Notary Public exam will not be administered during this workshop; however, an 80-question practice exam and answer key will be provided to complete at home.
