August 11, 2020Registration is Underway for Fall 2020 Computer Coding Courses at AlbanyCanCode and KingstonCanCode
AlbanyCanCode and KingstonCanCode, part of a nonprofit organization creating a new generation of software coders in New York, today announced the opening of registration for the Fall 2020 session, which features the inaugural computer coding course to be conducted in Kingston and three classes to be held in the Capital Region.
Each course will be presented virtually starting the week of September 14. KingstonCanCode is hosting a class in Front-End Web Development, while AlbanyCanCode is offering courses in Front-End Web Development, Automated Web and Security Testing, and JavaScript Fundamentals. Courses are held two nights per week, three hours per session, for 12 weeks.

We look forward to providing individuals from every walk of our communities the chance to build their computer skills and become valuable members of the technology-driven economy.”
The Front-End Web Development course, which teaches technical skills necessary for user interface (UI) development and wire framing, will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays. KingstonCanCode will present the class in partnership with SUNY Ulster, while AlbanyCanCode will provide the course in partnership with Capital Region BOCES.
Classes in JavaScript Fundamentals, the dominant scripting tool for front-end web development, will be held Mondays and Wednesdays in partnership with SUNY Adirondack.
The Automated Web and Security Testing course, which focuses on the use of software tools to evaluate the performance and security of a website, will be conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays in partnership with Hudson Valley Community College.
