Dairy and Pantry Drive Through

SUNY Cobleskill, in cooperation with the Schoharie County Farm Bureau, the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, and many community volunteers, will host a Dairy and Pantry Drive Through, on Friday May 1, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. The Drive Through is open to all community members. A growing list of contributors will be announced prior to the event.

Dairy and pantry bundles are free to all patrons, who will be directed to drive through a distribution area and stop parade-style at each pallet. Food products will be placed into vehicles by volunteers, limit of one of each product per car. The total bundle will include a variety of dairy, frozen items, and shelf stable products. Patrons will be required to remain in their vehicles and maintain social distancing and public health practices throughout the event.

In addition to the Drive Through, limited delivery will be available on a “first come, first served” basis to those in the area who do not have the ability to participate in person. Requests for delivery can be emailed to sprokop@nyfb.org and must include name, full address, phone number and a reason for request. If the request can be accommodated, a confirmation email will be sent.

The Dairy and Pantry Drive Though will take place in SUNY Cobleskill’s commuter parking lot “C”, directly next to Kelley’s Agway on Route 7 West. Those interested in volunteering may contact Sandie Prokop at sprokop@nyfb.org.
