April 15, 2020Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York Goes VIRTUAL
Join supporters and people from throughout the Capital Region living with and affected by epilepsy for the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York’s first ever VIRTUAL Bowl to END EPILEPSY, now through June 1st.
Due to COVID-19, we have gone virtual with our annul Bowl to END EPILEPSY fundraising event. Throughout the next several weeks leading up to June 1st, we will have fun ideas to play virtually, contests for great prizes, games, and more! Check our Facebook page (@efneny) for updates. Don’t forget to ask your company if they will match your donation! Trophies will be awarded to the Top Fundraising Individual, Friends and Family Team, and Company Team that raises the most money.
One in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. It can affect anyone at any age, and one in three people living with epilepsy cannot control their seizures with any available treatments. By supporting these individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by this life-altering diagnosis, we make a tangible promise to those living with epilepsy that we will fight for a cure, fight for safe and welcoming communities and fight to lessen their burden. Participants will raise critical funding to directly support the programs and services provided locally to people affected by epilepsy here in the Capital Region.
We need each other more than ever before to continue the fight to raise awareness and funds so that we may continue to provide the programs and services people affected by epilepsy so desperately need. Seizures haven’t stopped and neither has our fight to End Epilepsy.
