Chazen Expands Ownership

The Chazen Companies, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary consulting firm, announced Matthew Korn, P.E., and Walter Kubow, P.E., LEED® AP, as new associates of the firm.

Korn and Kubow are both based in Chazen’s Capital District office. Kubow joined Chazen in 2003 and works with the Land Development group as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer. He is experienced in Civil Engineering and is responsible for management and design of engineering reports for site development and redevelopment projects.

Korn joined Chazen a few years later in 2006 and works in the Geotechnical department as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer. His responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring subsurface exploration programs and preparing site specific geotechnical reports for state agencies, municipalities and/or private companies.

The two new shareholders join 24 other employees and the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) as owners of Chazen.
