July 26, 2018Locally and Family owned Metroland Business Machines won Independent Dealer of the Year Award from National Supplier, Neopost.
Metroland Business Machines Inc, a locally and family owned business, was recognized at the Neopost Annual Presidents Conference in Grand Velas Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico as the National Independent Dealer of the Year.
Neopost’s Dealer of the Year is awarded to the Top Independent Dealer with the highest combined performance in the following key areas:Overall Percentage of Quota and Revenue, Overall MS and CSS Performance vs Quota,Total Growth YOY and Revenue Performance in each of the six (6) Product Categories.
Managing Partner and Vice President of Sales Operations, Ed Neary said “Not only is this an honor to be recognized but it’s the first time a Level B Dealer has won National Dealer of the Year. My brother Dan Neary and I are so proud of the team we have and the business we have built since buying Metroland Business Machines in 2011. We have successfully achieved The President’s Conference each year since buying the dealership, but to be National Dealer of the Year is a big deal in our industry.”
Metroland Business Machines has grown their Neopost business by 43% YOY in 2017 and have doubled their revenue in the past 5 years. Currently Pitney Bowes has approximately 80% of the mailing business in The Capital Region leaving Neopost who is represented locally by Metroland Business Machines with 20% of the market and growing. “With our competition reducing their presence in the Capital Region, our successful team selling, certified and trained technicians and no 800 numbers to call make Metroland the place to do business,” said Dan Neary.
