The City of Albany and St. Peter’s Cardiac & Vascular Center present the 21st annual Albany Last Run 5K on Saturday, December 9 at 5 p.m. An additional 200 spaces have just been added to allow last-minute runners to ensure their spots this year. Participants may register online via ARE Event Productions or download the mail-in entry form. Registration is $30 in advance and $35 day-of if spaces are still available.

The Last Run is a great race for all ages, featuring a beautiful course through Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park and a starting line fireworks show. The race also features chip timing, age-based divisional awards and random prize drawings. Awards recognition and posting of results takes place at the base of the Egg at the Empire State Plaza Concourse following the race along with post race refreshments from Whole Foods Albany! All registered runners will receive a free Last Run 5K long-sleeve wicking fabric shirt.

The Last Run 5K is presented by St. Peter’s Cardiac & Vascular Center, and sponsored by Whole Foods, LYFT, CDPHP, Hampton Inn and Suites, Capital Car Share, Ortho New York & Albany Parking Authority.
