Free Lecture Explores Picasso and Creative Collaboration

The Albany Institute of History & Art will host Jay A. Clarke, Manton Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Clark Art Institute for a free lecture on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 6PM. Clarke will talk about the Clark Art Institute’s summer exhibition Picasso: Encounters and explore how Pablo Picasso’s (1881-1973) creative collaborations fueled and strengthened his art, challenging the notion of Picasso as an artist along with his craft.

This lecture is free and open to the public.
