Wednesday marked not only the beginning of #CPRWeek but also the launch of an innovative new app, PulsePoint! Capital Region Chamber Members, Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corp and Ellis Medicine are bringing this app to us that will assist with saving lives. When sudden cardiac arrest strikes, each minute without CPR reduces the chance of survival by 7-10 percent, so early bystander CPR and rapid defibrillation from an AED is crucial. The free PulsePoint app is available for iPhone and Android and can be downloaded from the iTunes Store and Google Play.
