Schenectady County Community College is excited to present its newest program – Introduction to Craft Brewing!
Shmaltz Brewing Company, Saranac, Adirondack Brewing and Rare Form Brewing have teamed up with the Workforce Development Boards of the Greater Capital Region and Schenectady County Community College to create a Brewer Training Program to meet the growing workforce needs to Craft Breweries throughout the Capital Region and Upstate, NY. This is a certificate, non-credit course designed to teach entry level brewing skills. This course is 13 weeks long and offered Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 201 State Street in Schenectady. The course is taught by a professional Brewer – Curriculum developed & overseen by regional breweries.
