May 23, 2017Sponsor-A-Scholar Publishes College Acceptances of Graduating Seniors
Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar announced that 100% of its 29 graduating high school seniors have been accepted to college this year.
Students will attend a range of institutions, including: Rochester Institute of Technology; Skidmore College; American University; SUNY Cortland; SUNY Brockport; Hobart and William Smith Colleges; Siena College; SUNY Adirondack; Hudson Valley Community College; SUNY New Paltz; and, SUNY Oswego.

Robin Christenson, executive director, highlighted the importance of their achievement: “Many of our Scholars are the first in their families to attend college. This is only the beginning of what we know will be many great accomplishments. We will be with our students every step of the way until they complete college.”
The organization recognizes its graduates from both high school and college at an annual event. This year it will take place on Wednesday, June 7th at the Hilton Garden Inn–Troy. Festivities begin at 5:30. Tickets are on sale at www.crsas.org.
