Secret Stockade: A Historic Tour & Lunch

Discover the Stockade and its secrets on the first Wednesday of each month! Join us for a guided walking tour of the neighborhood, lunch at historic Arthur’s Market, a peek inside a private 1820s Stockade home, and a visit to the Schenectady History Museum.

Schenectady’s Stockade is a national jewel, boasting the highest concentration of historic period homes in the nation. For over 300 years, Schenectadians have called the Stockade home, and the streets are alive today with the stories and legends of Schenectady’s past. Join us this season on SECRET STOCKADE and explore the beauty, history, and mystery of America’s oldest residential neighborhood!

Tours are scheduled for:

  • April 6 at 11:00 a.m.
  • May 4 at 11 a.m.
  • June 1 at 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.
  • July 6 at 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.
  • August 3 at 10 and 11:30 a.m.
  • September 7 at 11 a.m.
  • October 5 at 11 a.m.

Tickets are $20, and include guided tours of both the Schenectady History Museum and the Stockade, as well as lunch at Arthur’s Market.
