Saratoga Race Course to Host Autograph Signing with Trainer Todd Pletcher and Jockey Javier Castellano to Benefit The St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Defending Eclipse Award winning trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Javier Castellano will sign autographs on Sunday, August 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Community Outreach Booth, located near the Jockey Silks Room, to benefit The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Javier Castellano will sign autographs at the Community Outreach Booth with a minimum suggested donation to The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a non-profit organization which raises funds for childhood cancer through partnerships, advocacy initiatives and its well-known head shaving events. St. Baldrick’s is recognized as an international platform for childhood cancer awareness and research funding, with 849 grants at 349 institutions around the world.

The Community Outreach Booth is designed to provide local non-profit organizations with the chance to generate exposure about their efforts while also providing track visitors with a chance to contribute to meaningful causes.

For each day of the 2015 season, a local not-for-profit organization will have the opportunity to utilize the Community Outreach Booth to interact with the thousands of guests who visit Saratoga Race Course, share information about its mission and raise funds.

The 2015 summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course continues through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. For more information about Saratoga Race Course, call 518.584.6200 or visit NYRA.com.
