The Sage Colleges to Kick Off 2016 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition

The Department of Art + Design at Sage College of Albany will host the opening reception of the 12th Annual Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Opalka Gallery.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition runs from May 6 through June 18 and features work by seniors in Sage College of Albany’s Art+Design BFA programs: Fine Art, Photography, Interior Design and Graphic + Media Design. All seniors take a capstone class which focuses on a personal direction in the major in preparation for this exhibition. Selections are made by a jury of faculty and the Opalka Gallery director. This annual showcase offers a glimpse of the best of the best of what the BFA programs at Sage have to offer. The show is free & open to the public.

The students include Diana Ayala Bedoya, Sasha Barnes, Anthony Cinque, Caitlyn Coon, Oliver DeRosier, Annemarie Dolfi, Wayne Duffy, Jacob Esposito, Alyssa Gullotto, Gabrielle Hier, Adam Hitchcock, Michael Hotchkiss, Monika Hotchkiss, Anas Jamali, Meradith Kill, Jessica Lucia, Sydney Lussier, Ben Neadle, Mark Patti, Sara Pisarski, and Michaela Schumaci.

The Opalka Gallery is located at 140 New Scotland Avenue on the Sage College of Albany campus.
