Shaker Museum | Mount Lebanon Opening Weekend Friday, June 19-Monday, June 22 | 10 a.m.–-4 p.m.

Families ▪ Admission by donation – suggested donation of $10 Visit the North Family at Mount Lebanon Shaker Village, a National Historic Landmark. Mount Lebanon was the leading Shaker society in America from its founding in 1787 through its closing in 1947, and the North Family was its face to the wider World, composed of some of the most progressive and public Shakers in Shaker history. Then, on the walk back to the North Family, learn about persecution Shaker founder Ann Lee faced in the New Lebanon community during a 1783 visit.

View exhibitions of Shaker objects from the Museum’s collections, dive into educational resources at our Visitor Center, and browse the Museum Store, located in the Wash House – featuring a wide selection of books and gifts, including an expanded selection of products from the Shakers of Sabbathday Lake, Maine, the last remaining active community.
