March 9, 2018Community Resource Federal Credit Partners with NYS Troopers PBA to Offer Scholarship
Committed to strengthening the communities it serves, Community Resource Federal Credit Union (CRFCU) has partnered with the NYS Trooper PBA Signal 30 Benefit Fund to award a scholarship of $1,000 for a 4-year period to a Troopers PBA child/stepchild who intends to further their educational development. The award can be used for tuition, room/board and books.
“Giving back to strengthen our community is the core of our business model”, said Marc DeNofio, CRFCU VP of Marketing and Retail Delivery. “Our partnership with the Signal 30 Benefit Fund is a humbling experience. We are inspired to give back to those who dedicate their lives in service to New Yorkers.”
The Signal 30 Benefit Fund supports the members of the New York State Police and their families in extraordinary circumstances such as death, illness, injury and loss. Signal 30 also provides an extensive scholarship program to benefit the children of Troopers. The mission of the Fund is to always support Troopers and their families and all those in the law enforcement community.
