Alliance to Present Free Accredited Webinar for HR Professionals

Mario Pecoraro, CEO of Alliance Worldwide Investigative Group, Inc., will present a free accredited webinar called “Trends in Background Investigations” for HR Professionals on Tuesday, December 15 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. followed by a 15 minute question and answer period. The webinar is open to HR professionls, recruiters, business owners and anyone involved with conducting pre- and post-hire background investigations on employees and applicants.

The webinar has been approved for 1 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward Global Professional Human Resourses (GPHR), Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP), Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP) and California credits through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Pecoraro will present the top trends in background investigations including updates on the NYC Fair Chance Act, the pros and cons of the National Criminal Search and why some companies are fighting back (and winning) EEOC cases. He will also discuss the “Certainty in Enforcement Act of 2015” which seeks to limit EEOC authority to “guidance” and not “enforcement.”
