PechaKucha Night: Explain Yourself in 6 Minutes 40 Seconds

April 12, 2017
5:30pm - 8:00pm

Presented by the Tech Valley Young Professionals Network

So, what is a PechaKucha Night? Created by an architecture firm in Tokyo in 2003, PechaKucha Night has spread to more than 700 major cities around the world, and the Capital Region has been recognized as a host city! PechaKucha is derived from a Japanese term meaning the sound of conversation, or chit-chat. The concept is simple: Each guest speaker shows the audience 20 images and speaks for 20 seconds about each image, giving the speaker a total of 6 minutes 40 seconds to share ideas and experiences with the crowd.

These events are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, work and thoughts. We’re excited to have some of our amazing business leaders join us as guest presenters. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear their unique stories!
