Proctors Collaborative No Longer Mandating Proof of Vaccination

Proctors Collaborative no longer requires patrons to demonstrate proof of vaccination when they enter its venues, effective today.
The organization will continue to require patrons to wear masks at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, Proctors in Schenectady and Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs.

“The improvement in the COVID positivity rates in the Capital Region allows us to drop the proof of vaccination requirement,” said CEO Philip Morris, “though we continue to strongly encourage patrons to get vaccinations and maintain their immunity with boosters.”

“We are still requiring masks in our buildings for the time being for the protection of the performers, staff and guests,” he added. “We have not had a single performance cancelled due to COVID and we want to keep that streak alive.”
The mask policy requires guests ages 3 and to wear a face mask throughout the duration of their time in Proctors Collaborative facilities. Patrons are asked to maintain social distancing and may remove their masks briefly when actively eating or drinking. No food or drink consumption are allowed in audience areas during seated events.
Morris said policies are subject to change at any time and patrons are encouraged to visit the organization’s websites regularly for updates.
