May 19, 2017Touch-a-Truck Event for Families to Raise Money for Veterans
The Trucking Association of New York and Bestpass will host a Touch-a-Truck Event for families to benefit Veterans Miracle Center on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Crossgates Mall. Last year more than 1,500 people attended the event.
The Touch-a-Truck Event family fundraiser will give children, their parents and other attendees up-close access to a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles while also raising funds to provide critical and timely financial assistance and services to veterans, service members and their families.
The Touch-a-Truck Event is free and open the public, with attractions including:
-A variety of commercial tractor trailers and their drivers
-Emergency vehicles, including police cruisers and ambulances
-Construction vehicles
-Door prize and raffles with prizes from local organizations
