Steve Caporizzo Hosts Senior Luncheon and Pet Food Drive

Colonie-Steve Caporizzo from NEWS10 Albany will be at the Beltrone in Colonie for a senior luncheon  on July 10, 2018 at noon. He will bring a few animals and talk about his work in finding homes for abandoned dogs and cats. In celebration of animals everywhere, Colonie Senior Service Centers will be hosting a pet food drive during this event.

Food collected at the drive will be donated to shelters who work to place homeless animals with families. Any donations, large or small, will be accepted. Those interested in donating may bring unopened dry or canned food, treats, chews and new toys. The greatest need is for dry food, but all donations will be accepted.

The lunch will be held at the Beltrone in Colonie at 6 Winners Circle and is served at noon. Herb roasted pork loin, whipped sweet potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts and apple crisp with whipped cream will be served. The cost of lunch is $4 for seniors 60 and older and $8 for anyone under 60. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 518-459-2857, extension 303.
