CM School of Fine Arts Opens its Second Location in Albany

The Chamber was excited to facilitate the ribbon cutting of the second location of CM School of Fine Arts on Fuller Road in Albany on Tuesday, June 4, along with local elected officials, ambassadors and community members.

The school offers art programs to enrich the lives of students, some who come from difficult backgrounds. These students are the “diamonds in the rough” that are lacking support at home. However, they often possess the capacity to shine the brightest with the most positive impact in our world. After working with dozens of students like this, the fine arts school is proud to hold a 100% success rate with them once they meet us. “We plug them into any programs with us that will inspire and lift them up, and when they graduate, we help send them onto higher education or a trade school.”

Collette McComb, school director and founder was recently approached by several families in the Albany community asking her to bring her programs to Albany. The school’s staff is also provided with ongoing professional development to ensure that students are provided with the best experience possible. Whether you are an individual looking for beginner music or dance lessons, group art classes, want to play in a rock band, or star in a musical theater production, the staff at CM School of Fine Arts are committed to helping students and local artists achieve their goals in a positive and motivating atmosphere.

“We celebrate performing arts and sincerely love teaching music, dance, art and theater. We look forward to welcoming you into our fine arts family and to painting the world a brighter shade of beautiful, one student at a time!” Collette
