Leadership Capital Region Class of 2025 is now accepting proposals for their class project. Notification of the award will happen in February.

Projects to Elevate Our Region

While developing emerging leaders, Leadership Capital Region brings communities closer together by giving back to organizations that give us all so much. A community service project is one of this program’s signature traditions. We’d like to consider supporting yours.

Request for Proposals

This year’s LCR class welcomes proposals from organizations making a difference by empowering underserved young people, promoting mental health and wellness, or addressing systemic and immediate challenges of poverty such as homelessness and food insecurity. If you have a clear vision to meet a need that advances your mission and benefits the people you serve, tell us about it. Proposals should be for one-time projects that can be completed by late spring for organizations based in and serving the Capital Region.

Make your submission by noon Friday, Jan. 24, 2025. Your proposal must include proof of non-profit status and estimated budget. We recommend viewing the requirements first and preparing a Word document before completing the formal submission form; you cannot save your work and return to it. You can also email LCRClassof2025@gmail.com with any questions. We look forward to reviewing your proposals. The LCR class will select an awardee in February.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

Once a proposal is accepted, the LCR class will get to work. More than 40 participants will lead fundraising, marketing, and a host of efforts to bring your vision to life. The LCR class includes professionals from education, health care, finance, energy, technology, policy, community engagement, and many other areas. This blend of talent is enriched by passion for the community we all share. We love the Capital Region. It is our great privilege to support you the same way you support the neighbors of our hometowns.
