Business Referral Groups
Business Referral Groups (BRGs) provide a forum for the in-depth exchange of business leads and referrals among non-competing group members.
The Chamber currently has five active Business Referral Groups that each meet twice monthly to provide a forum for the exchange of business leads and referrals among non-competing group members while allowing for increased exposure in the region.
Membership in a BRG is ideal for those interested in generating new business and developing a network of contacts.
The following groups meet at the Chamber’s office, 5 Computer Drive South in Albany:
- BRG1 meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 12 – 1 p.m.
- BRG3 meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 12 – 1 p.m.
The following group meets at the Chamber’s office at 58 Clifton Country Road, Suite 102 in Clifton Park:
- BRG4 meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 9 – 10 a.m.
The following group meet at the Chamber’s office at 1473 Erie Boulevard in Schenectady:
- BRG6 meets on the second and fourth Friday of the month from 12 – 1 p.m.
The following group meet virtually on Zoom:
- BRG5 meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 12 – 1 p.m.
Membership within a BRG is exclusive by industry. Submit an application form to express interest in joining a BRG. After submitting the application, you will be notified as to whether you may join a current group (meaning your industry is not currently represented in a group) or if your application will be considered for a future group (meaning your industry is represented in each of the current groups).
View the BRG Guidelines for more information about group processes.
