August 17, 2016Marilyn Pendergast Celebrates 50 Years with UHY
Marilyn Pendergast, Managing Director at UHY Advisors NY and Partner at UHY LLP, will celebrate 50 years of service with the financial advisement and accounting firm this month.
Pendergast has been on the forefront of the accounting industry for decades, most prominently demonstrated through her position as the first woman president of the New York State Society of CPAs. In addition to many other accomplishments during her tenure, Pendergast has been recognized by the International Federation of Accountants’ Sempier Award for outstanding contributions to the international accountancy profession.

Her contributions to the firm have been countless and we are grateful for her five decades of dedicated service.”

Founded as Urbach Kahn & Werlin in Albany in 1964, the firm expanded nationally and internationally, later merging with others to form UHY. Today, UHY LLP is among the nation’s largest accounting firms as reported by Accounting Today.
